  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. A digital passport-type photograph taken within the last 6 months. This may be taken using a cell phone against a white wall provided if it meets the standards of a passport-type photograph.

  • Passport copy. A clear scan of the information page(photo page) of your valid, signed passport.

  • Business Letter. A soft/hard copy of business letter from the company, who is sending the applicant to Bangladesh. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Bangladesh, Visa Section, Washington", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
    State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. nature of contracting, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Bangladesh.
    pecify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
    Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

  • Business invitation. An invitation letter from the recognized business organization or a local sponsor from Bangladesh. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of the destination country, Visa Section, Washington", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
    State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in the destination country.

  • Letter of Invitation. Invitation or offer letter from the concerned university, college or school (educational institutions in Bangladesh).

  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

  • Appointment Letter. Appointment letter and contract papers with full terms and conditions including salary details.

  • Recommendation letter. Recommendation letter from the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) or Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) or Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) or NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh.

  • Letter of Support. A Letter from concern employer of Bangladesh mentioning the applicant's position in the organization.

  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • State Department Letter. A letter from the US Department of State addressed to the "Embassy of Bangladesh, Washington D.C. ", giving a detailed description of the purpose of travel, the names and addresses of any organizations to be visited, and the dates of the trip. The letter must contain the applicant's name and the passport number and should have a statement confirming that the US Embassy in Bangladesh will take full responsibility for the applicant.
